START | FINISH IN MADRID, SPAIN
ITINERARY:
DAY 1 : MADRID | ARRIVAL
After your arrival at Madrid Airport, we will transfer you to the Hotel. On the way, there will be a Bus Tour of Madrid's Landmarks and Monuments, among the famous Mudejar Bull Ring, Presidential Palace and Madrid Football Stadium. Once checked In the Hotel, you will have time to settle and freshen up. There will be free time and leisure much depending on Arrival Time.
DAY 2 : MADRID | SEVILLE | TOURS (B)
After breakfast, we will check out of the Hotel and departure for Seville. Upon arrival, we will take a guided visit to Seville's Historic center which will include the Royal palaces and Gardens built for a Christian King in Islamic Architecture, the Cathedral of Seville and its Giralda Tower, once the biggest Minaret in the world. It is said Muezzn used to ride up on a horse to call the Azan. After some free time to take Lunch, you can take a stroll along the river Guadalavir, visit the Jewish center quarter, Torre De Oro before we head to the Hotel and check in for the Evening.
DAY 3 : SEVILLE | CORDOBA (B)
After breakfast, we depart for Cordoba. The legendary Muslim City that was the Capital of Al Andalus. Upon arrival, we will take a guided tour to the Cordoba Mosque, one of the most important and largest Mosque in its time, after taking Lunch, we take a walk through the old Jewish Quarter and then across the old Roman Bridge for a visit to a fantastic interactive Museum on Islamic Spain. There will be free time for the rest of the day.
DAY 4 : CORDOBA | GRANADA (B)
After breakfast, we will check out of the Hotel and depart for Granada, stopping on the way at the archaeological site of Madinat Al Zahra. The city built by the Caliph Abdul Rahman III. Here, we will see the Palace ruins and take a visit to the new exhibition and museum. Seville is approximately 150 KM. We will then make our way down to Granada, the last Muslim Kingdom which held out for 250 years before the inevitable fall in 1492. Upon arrival, we will check in to the Hotel and freshen up. We will then a brief walking tour of the City before having free time.
DAY 5 : GRANADA (B)
After breakfast, we will make our way to the AlHambra. Usually the highlights of the Tour for many. Nominated as a Wonder of the World, the visit to the Palaces, Garden and Fort will leave you breathless. The visit to the AlHambra can take up to 4 - 5 hours. After this, you will have free time to do some shopping and explore the AlBaycin. In the evening, we will visit the new Granada Mosque, the first to be built in 500 years.
DAY 6 : GRANADA | MADRID (B)
After breakfast, there will be time for shopping or relax before heading back to Madrid. Arriving in Madrid in the evening, the group will check in into he Hotel and have free time.
DAY 7 : MADRID | DEPARTURE (B)
After breakfast there will be free time before departure to airport
